Business logos¶

This form is used to upload your business logo if you wish to customize the login form or display your logo on reports.

Authorization Roles required¶

Many roles can select this object on other records where approriate. Editing or viewing this object in detail is only available to Users with the following roles:

Full access

Business administration

Read only access

Business administration - restricted

How to access business logos¶

The business logo form is accessed from the Global settings form business logos section.

How business logos work¶

Logos are stored in the AyaNova database and appear in reports and on the login form.

If you do not want to customize the login form and only want a logo for reporting then you would only need to provide the Small sized logo. If you provide a Medium or Large sized logo they will automatically be used by the Login form in place of the standard AyaNova logo.

Maximum logo file size¶

Maximum file size allowed for any logo is 512KiB (512000 bytes) however you should ensure your logo is as small a file size as possible while still maintaining visual quality. Under 100kb is a good rule of thumb.

Recommended logo dimensions¶

You can use any dimensions that meet your needs, here are some appropriate starting points:

Large logo: 600 pixels width by 200 pixels height Medium logo: 300 pixels width by 100 pixels height Small logo: 150 pixels width by 50 pixels height

AyaNova will attempt to show the most appropriate logo for the device's screen size automatically.

The Medium logo is shown on all devices narrower than 960 pixels.

The narrowest display AyaNova layout supports is 360 pixels wide; a good maximum width for the medium logo is 300 pixels.

The Large logo is shown on any device wider than 959 pixels.

The Small logo is not used on the login form and is intended to be used only for reporting purposes.

Reporting¶

Logos are also available to the reporting system and can be added using the report editor.
