Port / URL setting¶

You can control the port and URL that the AyaNova server will listen on via environment variable or command line parameter.

Default¶

If no override is specified AyaNova will use the following default value:

"http://*:7575"

This means AyaNova will listen on port 7575 on all of the computer's network addresses.

Behind a reverse proxy¶

When all users connect through a reverse proxy (such as NGINX) on the same computer, use 127.0.0.1 in place of *, for example "http://127.0.0.1:7575". AyaNova then accepts connections only from that computer, so it can not be reached directly over unencrypted HTTP, bypassing the reverse proxy. See the Linux server installation instructions.

Overriding¶

AyaNova expects the PORT and URL to be provided by a config.json property, environment variable or command line parameter named

AYANOVA_USE_URLS

The value specified should be a string of one or more semicolon separated values, for example: http://*:5000;http://localhost:5001;https://hostname:5002
